A native of Buffalo, NY, Dr. Insalaco has been working in the veterinary field since 1993. He graduated from The University at Buffalo with a B.S. in Biology in 1997. He then attended the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in Auburn, AL, graduating with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduating from Auburn, Dr. Insalaco completed a one-year internship in Emergency Medicine and Surgery at the Angell Animal Medical Center – Western New England in Springfield, MA.

Dr. Insalaco then returned to Western NY and practiced emergency medicine (primarily) and general surgery until 2010, when he moved to Connecticut. He then worked at hospitals in West Hartford, CT and Southington, CT until 2015, when he moved to New Hampshire. His professional interests are diverse, including general medicine, surgery, wound management, feline medicine, and pain management.

When not at work, Dr. Insalaco enjoys spending time reading, cooking, camping, hiking, and skiing. He finds entertainment watching all sorts of sporting events and is a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Dr. Insalaco also enjoys playing guitar and listening to music (primarily rock and blues). He enjoys the company of 5 wonderful cats at home – Virgil, Dante, Lucy, Phil, and Waldo.
